DEEP IN YOUR POCKET:

This arcade was just warped, weird and frankly quite terrifying. Containing only two elderly female customers who sat for hours feeding these machines with what I could only describe as their frivolous time. These overbearing, sickeningly bright contraptions being their only form of entertainment. The idea was obscure, that you could be lured in and sit in this room of horrors knowing that deep down you would never win or gain anything worth what you've sacrificed. I made these pictures seem inviting contradicting the idea that most would refrain from going anywhere near that luminous overly bright cell.

WEYMOUTH:

I've just returned from Weymouth having spent a couple of days by the seaside. The difference made through a lens when it is bright and sunny is amazing. Taking photos in Leeds in the rain I always feel that I have to come home and edit them heavily, but when the weather is nice and you have the brilliant backdrop of a bright blue sky and sea the photos can show an untouched reality that's lively and appealing.

OVERCASTED:

These are by far some of my favorite photographs I've ever taken. The idea behind them being experimental and just came out so well. Despite the fact that they all have a uniform look I feel each piece could communicate visually very different messages and ask very different questions. I might edit these for posters or visual statements and re-up them.

LOMO-FISHEYE INTRO:

I LOVE LOMO. I'm so glad I was finally able to get this camera because I think it gives such an interesting and stylized look to photos. This is just experimentation with the camera and getting a feel for the way it works.
